It is suitable for patients with mild to moderate non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus with unsatisfied curative effect of diet control alone. It can also improve the patient's diabetic and diabetic disorders. |
Gliclazide is the second generation oral sulfonylurea hypoglycemic agent with strong effect. Its mechanism is similar to tolbutamide, that is, it selectively acts on islet beta cells, promotes insulin secretion and increases insulin release after eating glucose. Its effect is more than 10 times stronger than that of tolbutamide. In recent years, it has been found that gliclazide has extrapancreatic effect, which can enhance the effect of surrounding tissues on insulin. Gliclazide has been proved by animal experiments and clinical use that it can reduce platelet aggregation and adhesion, prevent the deposition of vitrin on the microvascular wall, and has a preventive and therapeutic effect on diabetic microangiopathy.
In addition, this product can inhibit the release of arachidonic acid from phospholipids in platelets, thus reducing the synthesis of thromboxane (txa3), inhibiting a variety of coagulation factors (such as V, VIII, Xi), and can increase the level of plasminogen activator and promote the dissolution of fibrin.
