Used to treat various bacterial infections including severe infections |
Most of the drugs in solution do not interact with cefepime, gentamicin, or amikacin due to the addition of cefotaxime. When the concentration of cefepime exceeds 40 mg / ml, it should not be added to ampicillin solution. If there are indications for combination with cefepime, these antibiotics should be used separately from cefepime.
Cefepime can cause false positive reaction in urine glucose test. It is suggested to use glucose oxidase reaction detection method during the treatment.
