Recently, Keyuan Holding Group and the People's Government of Shengzhou City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang, held a grand signing ceremony for the "Annual Production of 1.1 million tons of ABS New Material Project" at the Shaoxing Hotel in Shaoxing City.
According to the agreement, the new material project has a total investment of 6 billion yuan, which will be constructed in two phases and will be completed within 5 years. The first phase will invest 4 billion yuan to build an annual output of 600,000 tons, including a new ABS material with an annual output of 100,000 tons of high transparency. The second phase plans to invest another 2 billion yuan to build an annual output of 500,000 tons.
Tao Chunfeng, chairman of Keyuan Holding Group, said that ABS is the most versatile engineering plastic in the world. The demand for ABS has been growing rapidly for 20 consecutive years. East China is a consumer market with great demand for engineering plastics. The long-term monopoly and production companies are almost foreign companies, leading to long-term high prices and severely restricting the development of my country's automobiles, home appliances, building materials, machinery and other fields. This project will rely on Keyuan Holding Group’s own technological advantages, firmly grasp the major opportunities in the upgrading of the new consumer market, concentrate limited resources, funds, and strengths to areas and goals of superiority, and accelerate the industrial chain layout in East China. Help domestic enterprises alleviate their dependence on external industrial chain links and win the opportunity to develop in market segments.
