At 8:30 on October 13, as the No. 1 diesel hydrogenation unit of the oil refining plant was changed to a long cycle, the unit entered the shutdown phase. This is the first production facility of Sino-Korea Petrochemical to enter the shutdown phase, marking the start of the company's 67-day inspection and revision in 2020.

This major revision is the largest revision in the company's history, with the most extensive technical measures, the highest investment, and the largest scale. Since October 13th, the first set of installations has been shut down, with a total construction period of 67 days. The main line will be ethylene de-bottleneck transformation, involving 33 sets of refining and chemical plants and supporting public engineering systems. A total of 7616 projects will be reached. Tens of thousands.

This overhaul is the first time that all Sino-Korea Petrochemical plants have reached the "four and a half year overhaul" after the first four-year shutdown in 2016, and will lay the foundation for the next cycle of "five years overhaul".

About Sino-Korea Petrochemical

Sino-Korea Petrochemical (Wuhan) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 by Sinopec Group and SK Group as a joint venture to jointly construct and operate Wuhan 800,000 tons ethylene project. In June 2017, Sinopec and SK Group vigorously promoted the Wuhan refining and chemical integrated joint venture project, and the refining business of Wuhan Petrochemical was merged into Sino-Korea Petrochemical to realize the integrated operation of refining and chemical industry.

In October 2017, Sinopec approved the feasibility study report of Sino-Korea Petrochemical's Wuhan Ethylene Debottleneck Renovation Project. The project will expand the capacity of the ethylene plant by tapping the potential and transforming it on the basis of the existing 800,000 tons/year ethylene plant. To 1.1 million tons/year.

Based on the existing 800,000 tons/year of ethylene, the project will adapt the downstream production equipment to expand the capacity of the ethylene device from 800,000 tons/year to 1.1 million tons/year, and the MTBE/butene-1 device from 8 30,000 tons/year to 12/45,000 tons/year, pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation unit from 550,000 tons/year to 700,000 tons/year, aromatics extraction unit from 350,000 tons to 400,000 tons/year Tons/year; newly built 300,000 tons/year HDPE plant, 300,000 tons/year polypropylene plant and 60,000 tons/year butadiene plant. Public engineering system transformation includes the construction of a new 300t/h gas boiler, the transformation of the first and third circulation water fields, the ground flare system and the establishment of a solid product three-dimensional warehouse. The supporting storage and transportation system, public works and auxiliary facilities are all based on the existing or after rebuilding.
