A Cargo Ship Collided With A Liquid Chemical Tanker Off The Coast Of Japan, And 3 People Were Missing

The Kyodo News Agency of Japan just reported that at 2 am local time on the 28th, the Japanese cargo ship Byakko collided with the liquid chemical tanker Ulsan Pioneer flying the Marshall Islands flag near the coast of Japan. The cargo ship capsized and three people were missing.


According to reports, there are 12 crew members on this Japanese cargo ship, of which 3 are missing, all Japanese males. The remaining 9 people were hospitalized without life-threatening.


The report also said that 13 people on the liquid chemical tanker were citizens of South Korea and Myanmar, and no one was injured. The report mentioned that the chemical tanker left Chinese ports on the 25th and plans to arrive at Osaka Port at 2 pm on the 28th.
