At 4:37 that day, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment received a telephone report from the Suihua City Ecological Environment Bureau and immediately initiated an emergency response. After on-site monitoring, the air quality around the accident was normal, and no characteristic pollutants such as toluene and xylene were detected in the groundwater.
After the accident, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment immediately organized environmental emergency and monitoring teams to the scene to carry out investigation and monitoring, and reported the relevant situation to the provincial emergency management department. In accordance with the requirements of the provincial leadership, an expert team was organized to rush to the scene led by the leader of the department in charge to organize and guide the local environmental emergency response and monitoring work.
At present, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment has continuously tracked and monitored the ambient air and groundwater in the area where the accident occurred, setting up 5 ambient air monitoring points, including 1 upwind, 3 downwind, and 1 sensitive target Mengjiangtun; groundwater There are 5 monitoring points, including 3 groundwater monitoring wells in the factory, 1 monitoring well in the park, and 1 sensitive point outside the park. The monitoring results of the surrounding and sensitive points of the accident showed that the air quality did not change significantly before and after the explosion, the air quality was good, and toluene and xylene were not detected in the groundwater.
