On November 1, 2020, Zhejiang Petrochemical Company held the commissioning ceremony of phase II atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit.
Zhejiang Petrochemical 40 million tons / year refining and chemical integration phase II project, with a total investment of more than 80 billion yuan, is located in Yushan Island, Daishan County, Zhoushan City, with a total land area of 9825 Mu and a total construction area of 500000 square meters. The newly-built main works mainly include 20 million tons / year oil refining, 4 million tons / year paraxylene, 1.4 million tons / year ethylene and downstream units. Supporting projects include storage and transportation engineering, public auxiliary engineering and environmental protection engineering
In October 2019, the construction of phase II atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit of Zhejiang Petrochemical Company was officially started. In the early stage, the actual effective construction period of atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit was reduced to 8 months due to the constraints of contract, materials, site, epidemic situation and other conditions.
The 40 million T / a refining and chemical integration project (phase I) of Zhejiang Petrochemical Company will be put into full operation by the end of 2019.
