On July 27th, Dushanzi District carried out the 2021 hazardous chemical transportation leakage accident actual combat drill in the West Nine Kilometers Logistics Park. This exercise simulated the scene where liquefied petroleum gas continued to leak from the broken liquid valve and the car driver was injured and unconscious. At the drill site, emergency rescuers wore positive pressure air breathing apparatus to plug the tank truck in the accident, and the fire truck was sprayed and diluted at the scene to prevent the flammable gas from continuing to spread. At the same time, the safety and security team conducted traffic control on the scene, the medical rescue team quickly rescued the wounded, and the environmental monitoring team monitored the air pollution and wind direction at the accident site. Through the joint efforts of all departments, the accident site was effectively controlled and the drill ended successfully.


This exercise strengthened the linkage and cooperation capabilities of various departments, improved the command and dispatch and rapid response mechanism for the handling of hazardous chemical transport vehicle leakage accidents, improved the emergency response plan for hazardous chemical transport vehicle leakage accidents, and comprehensively improved the emergency rescue capabilities.
