On June 6th, the Gulei Refining and Chemical Integration Project undertook by the Shijian Company had a successful no-load test run of the 800,000-ton/year ethylene plant cracking gas compressor unit, which marked the start of the Gulei Refining and Chemical Ethylene Project in preparation for start-up.
It is understood that the compressor unit is the core equipment of the ethylene plant. The no-load test power of the compressor unit is 29,225 kilowatts, the speed is 4795/min, and the maximum design pressure is 4.2 MPa.
In order to ensure a successful trial run of the compressor unit, the staff involved in the construction of the ethylene branch of the Shijian Gulei refining and chemical project struggled with high temperatures and scorching heat, overcoming the impact of many unfavorable factors such as tight construction period and complex working environment, and successfully completed 11 in only 12 days. The stress-free piping construction has laid a solid foundation for the realization of high-quality test runs of the compressor unit.
Afterwards, after 3 days of high-intensity day and night fighting, the ethylene plant cracking gas compressor shaft system vibration, temperature, inlet and exhaust pressures run smoothly, all within the design range, creating good conditions for subsequent load test runs. Before the commissioning, the compressor leading group of the project department optimized and perfected the commissioning plan to ensure that the commissioning work was foolproof.
Because the construction of the cracked gas compressor unit of the ethylene plant is faced with the influence of the large diameter of the ultra-high pressure steam pipe, the pipe wall thickness, and the narrow working space, the construction of the piping and the flange facing the mouth has increased a lot of difficulty. According to on-site construction conditions, the project department has scientifically organized, carefully deployed, and deployed lean construction forces to successfully complete the stress-free piping work of the compressor unit, making full preparations for the smooth start of the commissioning work.
At present, the employees participating in the construction continue to keep up with the trial operation status of the compressor unit, which provides a strong guarantee for the successful start-up of the Gulei Refining and Chemical Ethylene Unit.
