At about 7:21 on November 17, an explosion occurred in the wastewater distillation workshop of Ji'an Haizhou pharmaceutical and Chemical Co., Ltd., Futan Industrial Park, Jinggangshan Economic Development Zone, Ji'an city.
Local reporters at the scene to see that all the vicinity of the cordon, there are also a lot of fire rescue vehicles and police. Nearby factories and houses were damaged to varying degrees, doors and windows were twisted and deformed, and glass was broken and scattered on the ground.
According to the Emergency Management Bureau of Jinggangshan economic and Technological Development Zone, two people lost contact and six people were injured. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment, the scene has been controlled, and rescue efforts are being made. The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
