On July 31, the “Yijing Jingen” city cluster Yidu·Songzi Coordinated Development Pioneer Zone Major Projects Concentrated Commencement Ceremony was held in Lingang New District, Songzi City, with a total investment of 34.3 billion yuan in 51 key projects. Among them, there are 25 projects in Yichang, Yidu, with a total investment of 17.2 billion yuan; 26 projects in Songzi City, Jingzhou, with a total investment of 17.1 billion yuan.
The Jiaoliu Railway-Zhicheng Port-Cheyanghe Port multimodal transport project started this time is the first cross-regional infrastructure project of the "Yijing Jingen" urban agglomeration, and it is also the leading project of the Yidu·Songzi collaborative development pilot area. Among them, the Yidu water-rail multimodal transport base is located in Zhicheng Town, with a planned investment of 2.5 billion yuan, which will be constructed in two phases. Songzi Cheyanghe Hub Port project, with a planned investment of 2.41 billion yuan, to build a special railway line for Cheyanghe, MTR logistics park, Cheyanghe hazardous chemical wharf, Type B bonded logistics center, Cheyanghe sand and gravel collection point, Multimodal transport supply chain information platform, Jingzhou Port Songzi Cheyanghe Smart Port and other subprojects.
After the completion of the multimodal transport project, it will realize seamless connection between water transport and railway, reduce logistics costs, provide transportation services for Yidu Chemical Park, Songzi Lingang Industrial Park and surrounding enterprises, and build a “Yijing Jingen” urban agglomeration. The non-capital cities in the western region will jointly build a model of urban agglomeration, and provide support for the innovation-driven green development demonstration zone in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
In May of this year, Songzi City and Yidu City jointly created the "Yijing-Jingen City Cluster Regional Coordinated Development Pioneer Zone", which will jointly promote the construction of a chemical industry cluster with an investment of 10 billion yuan.
The two places will also join hands to build a new material industry cluster of 100 billion yuan and a world-class phosphorous chemical industry based on the Yidu Chemical Park and Songzi Lingang Chemical Park. base.
