Recently, listed companies in the titanium dioxide category such as Lomon Baili, China Nuclear Titanium Dioxide, Anada, and Gimpo Titanium have successively issued price increase announcements. The content is that the sales price for domestic customers will be raised by RMB 1,000/ton, and the export price for international customers will be raised by 150. USD/ton. The reporter noticed that China Nuclear Titanium Dioxide has issued five price adjustment announcements since the beginning of the year, all of which are raising domestic and export prices; Gimpo Titanium has issued four times and Anadar has issued three times, which are also raising product prices.
The above three companies all stated in their announcements that the continuous increase in the sales price of their main products will have a positive impact on operating performance, and they will closely follow the price trend of titanium dioxide and market changes, and make price adjustments in a timely manner. Guosen Securities stated that since the second half of last year, under the continuous promotion of the cost of titanium concentrate and the continuous growth of exports, the price of domestic titanium dioxide has risen significantly. At present, the price of domestic rutile sulfuric acid titanium dioxide has increased from about 11,000 in early July last year. RMB/ton rises to RMB 20,500/ton to RMB 22,000/ton, and the price of titanium dioxide will continue to rise.
Regarding the reasons for the rise in titanium dioxide, Anada stated in the recent record of investor relations activities that rising costs are the dominant factor driving the increase in the price of titanium dioxide, and the prices of major raw materials such as titanium concentrate and sulfuric acid have increased significantly. Secondly, domestic market demand continues to improve, foreign markets are still affected by the epidemic, production capacity devices have not yet returned to normal, and the company's product exports have increased.
China Post Securities believes that looking forward to the whole year, overseas effective production capacity will shrink slightly, China's supply increase is limited, and the demand side is optimistic about the strength and sustainability of this year's titanium dioxide business cycle in the context of the gradual recovery of the world's major economies.
