In May of this year, the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Management Committee issued the "Action Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone (2020-2022)", proposing to strengthen the construction of hydrogen-related infrastructure such as hydrogen refueling stations, accelerate the layout of the industrial chain, and form hydrogen energy Industrial clusters. Recently, PetroChina and Shenergy established a hydrogen energy joint venture company, whose business scope includes station-use hydrogenation and hydrogen storage facilities, petroleum products (excluding hazardous chemicals), and new energy vehicle power exchange facilities. Recently, Guangzhou officially released the "Guangzhou Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Plan", which clarified the development positioning of Guangzhou as a hydrogen energy R&D and design center, equipment manufacturing center, inspection and testing center, market operation center and international exchange center in the Greater Bay Area.
As of now, more than 30 provinces and cities across the country have issued hydrogen energy development plans, and the demand for clean energy-related chemical talents continues to grow. According to recruitment data on relevant websites, as of mid-August this year, the demand for talent recruitment in the chemical industry has increased by 10.6% compared to the same period last year.
From the perspective of the types of job recruitment, as of mid-August, the job recruitment demand for safety personnel and synthetic R&D engineers has increased significantly, 11.7% and 11.6% respectively; the demand for pipeline design engineers, purchasers, and instrument engineers is compared with the same period last year. There has been an increase, with year-on-year increases of 11.3%, 11.1%, and 10.8%.
From the perspective of the regional division of recruitment positions, as of mid-August, the demand for talents in the chemical industry in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong has increased steadily, with year-on-year demand growth of 11.2%, 11%, and 10.9% respectively. Among the second-tier regions, the demand for talents in Shandong, Tianjin, Jiangsu, and Hebei increased significantly, with 11.2%, 11.1%, 10.9%, and 10.8% respectively.
Experts said that hydrogen energy, as a clean energy that is being vigorously developed within my country, will continue to increase the demand for related chemical talents, and the talent gap in technology, research and development, and safety will continue to expand.
