On Dec 28, the State Medical Products Administration approved a new herbal compound called Qijiao Tiaojing Granules, which Hunan Anbang Pharmaceutical Co LTD had applied for. This medicine is composed of 9 medicines such as Astragalus, ejiao, codonopsis codonopsis and Paeoniae Radix. It has the effect of beneficial qi and blood, hemostasis and menstrual regulation. It is used for TCM syndrome differentiation of prolonged menstrual period caused by upper ring, which is Qi and blood deficiency. A multi-center, randomized, double-blind, parallel controlled clinical trial of the drug was conducted. The results of clinical trials showed that the recovery rate and recovery rate were 31.82% and 63.64% in the experimental group and 12.00% and 38.00% in the control group, respectively. The differences between groups were statistically significant. The launch of the drug will provide new treatment options for patients with clinically related conditions.
