Uses |
Anti-inflammatory analgesics and naproxen intermediates |
It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is a PG synthase inhibitor. It can inhibit prostate synthetase. It has significant analgesic and antipyretic effects. It can be absorbed rapidly after oral administration. The plasma concentration is 2 to 4 hours after 1 dose. At its peak, more than 99% of the blood binds to plasma proteins, t1/2 is 13 to 14 hours, and about 95% is excreted in the urine as original form and metabolites. Clinically used to treat rheumatic and rheumatoid joint inflammation, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, arthritis, tenosynovitis. It can also be used to relieve pain caused by musculoskeletal sprains, contusions, injuries, and dysmenorrhea. However, it should be noted that as with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, severe gastrointestinal adverse reactions may occur at any time during the treatment of naproxen. Therefore, patients with active gastroduodenal ulcers should not use other gastrointestinal ulcers. Patients with tract diseases should take it under close medical supervision.
