On January 17, the newly added cracking furnace and cold box system of the 1.3 million tons/year ethylene expansion transformation project of Sino-Saudi (Tianjin) Petrochemical Corporation was successfully commissioned and commissioned, producing qualified ethylene, and the equipment operating parameters reached the design standards, marking the project The main process flow is fully opened up, and the goal set by the headquarters is completed 3 months in advance. So far, Tianjin Petrochemical's total ethylene production capacity has reached 1.5 million tons/year.
Tianjin Petrochemical has two sets of ethylene plants, the original production capacity is 200,000 tons/year and 1 million tons/year respectively. This transformation is the 1 million tons/year ethylene plant of Zhongsha (Tianjin) Petrochemical, adding 200,000 tons per year. The ton/young liquid raw material cracking furnace is the largest single production cracking furnace in China, using the cracking furnace technology independently developed by Sinopec. At present, the project has entered the final stage. After it is put into operation, the capacity of a single ethylene plant of Sino-Saudi Arabia (Tianjin) Petrochemical will enter the forefront of similar domestic plants.
In addition, the operation level of Tianjin Petrochemical’s 200,000 tons/year ethylene plant continued to improve. As of the end of 2020, the processing loss rate was only 0.03%, a record low.
