The total investment of the project is about 500 million yuan, covering an area of about 65 acres. On April 18, 2020, Sinochem International's Lightweight Materials Division and Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park signed an investment agreement for the ABS modified material project.
On August 29, 2020, Sinochem International disclosed in its semi-annual report that the construction of the 24,000-ton/year ABS modified material project has begun.
On September 22, 2020, in response to investors’ questions, Sinochem International stated that the project belongs to the field of modified plastics, and is widely used in the automotive industry, household appliances, medical and health, rail transit, construction engineering and other industries.
