On November 30, the main unit of Baling Petrochemical's 50,000-ton/year SEBS industrialized production plant, which was undertaken by the Sinopec Fourth Construction Project Department in Central China, was successfully completed.
According to reports, Baling Petrochemical's 50,000-ton/year SEBS plant construction project started on October 1, 2018 and is scheduled to be commissioned on December 31, 2020. Since the beginning of this year, affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, regional projects have overcome many difficulties and assembled forces in the shortest time to ensure the smooth resumption of work on the site. The owner has been called the vanguard of the resumption of work and production. As a key project of Sinopec Group Corporation, the solvent refinement unit 6.30 is an important target node of the "Hundred Days of Tackling Hardships and Benefits". On September 24, the "48-meter crossing truss", the most important node after entering the installation stage, was successfully installed in place. The installation of this truss with a weight of 72 tons and a very complex structure means that the pipe corridors of the old area and the new area can be connected, creating conditions for the subsequent pipeline construction of the outer pipe corridor.
The device adopts the international advanced level of independent intellectual property technology, which lasted 14 months of intense construction.
After the project is put into production, Baling Petrochemical's green and environmentally friendly thermoplastic rubber SEBS, SBS, SIS, SEPS, SSBR and other series of products will have an annual production capacity of 380,000 tons, ranking second in the world for similar products and first in Asia. Among them, SEBS has an annual production capacity of 100,000. Tons, the scale ranks first in the world.
