According to Shandong Maritime Weibo news, at about 09:00 on April 27, the Panamanian general cargo ship SEA JUSTICE and the Liberian anchored tanker A SYMPHONY were in the southeast of Chaolian Island in Qingdao, Shandong. A collision in the sea caused damage to a cargo hold of the tanker, and a small amount of oil spill was found on the sea.
The two ships are in stable condition with no casualties. After the accident, the Marine Search and Rescue Center of Shandong Province and Qingdao City immediately initiated emergency response, dispatched ships from the maritime, rescue, port and other departments and social forces to participate in the emergency response in the sea area where the incident occurred.
