On October 18, the reporter learned from Sinopec Shengli Oilfield that the first batch of newly-added proven petroleum geological reserves of Shengli Oilfield in 2021 has successfully passed the oil and gas reserves review by the Ministry of Natural Resources. There are 24 blocks in 10 oil fields, including Chengdao, Le'an, and Wangzhuang, with an additional 38.85 million tons of proven oil reserves, which is equivalent to the discovery of a medium-sized oil field. Among them, Chengdao Oilfield is located in the Bohai Sea in Hekou District, Dongying City, Le'an Oilfield is located in Guangrao County, Dongying City and Boxing County, Binzhou City, and Wangzhuang Oilfield is located in Wangzhuang Township, Lijin County, Dongying City.
Over the past 60 years of exploration and development, Shengli Oilfield has intensively cultivated in the "broken plate" and has discovered a total of 81 oil fields. Crude oil production accounted for one-fifth of the country’s onshore oil production during the same period. In 2015, the average annual output has stabilized at more than 27 million tons for 20 consecutive years, and the current stable output is 23.4 million tons. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the accumulated proven reserves of Shengli Oilfield have reached 193 million tons.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Shengli Oilfield clarified the potential of "three 1 billion tons", such as the efficient production of 1 billion tons of unused reserves, the quality and efficiency improvement of 1 billion tons of double-low units, and the tertiary oil recovery of 1 billion tons of high water-cut blocks. Direction, as well as four million-ton capacity construction positions in the west, deep, offshore, and heavy oil, to make new contributions to safeguarding national energy security.
