On December 12, the second-phase oxychlorination unit of Gulf Chemical's vinyl chloride was successfully put into operation, announcing that the second-phase project of Gulf Chemical was fully put into operation, marking that Gulf Chemical entered a new stage of high-quality development.
The second phase of the Gulf Chemical project started construction in January 2019. It has been fully optimized and upgraded on the basis of the first phase, with more stable equipment performance, higher level of automatic control, safer operation and more reliable quality.
The full commissioning of the second-phase project of Gulf Chemical has enabled the enterprises to achieve an annual output of 800,000 tons of vinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride. Among them, the production capacity of ethylene-based polyvinyl chloride ranks first in China. To lay the foundation for the enterprise to win the "14th Five-Year Plan", the operating income will reach 10 billion yuan in 2021 and 14 billion yuan in 2022.
