Dasatinib is indicated for adult patients with all phases (chronic phase, accelerated phase, lymphoid blast crisis, and myeloid blast crisis) of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) who have received prior treatment-including those who are resistant to or intolerant of imatinib mesylate (Imatinibmesylate/Gleevec).Additionally, the FDA has approved dasatinib through the standard approval process for the treatment of adult patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who are resistant to or intolerant of other therapies. |
