Statins APIs

Statins APIs are key active ingredients used for the production of statin drugs. Statin drugs are a class of widely used lipid-regulating medications that can significantly reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Different statins APIs, such as simvastatin and rosuvastatin, have slight differences in structure and pharmacological effects. However, they all inhibit hydroxymethylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase to reduce cholesterol synthesis. They are used for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia, mixed hyperlipidemia, and the prevention of the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases.
